I picked up 10 boxes of this at my local WalMart for $4.50 per box! Made in Spain and distributed by Tulammo. I am going to miss it when WalMart stops selling ammo in California owing to our idiotic gun and ammo laws, they have been my low cost hookup for bulk shotshells.

I've tried it and wasn't too impressed. Other shells patterned better for me. I never had any problems with it though. I also cut open a shell and found lots of odd shaped BBs.
I've been wanting to try their cheap buck shot.

For 16 yard Trap, sounds like it is usable. Probably does use reclaimed shot. I picked up a few hundred rounds of the Federal too, but it's a buck more per box. When I am taking family and friends and have 3-4 shooters, those savings add up. I can't reload for $4.50 per box.

For fun I bought another box (the only other box I bought was about 2 years ago) and cut open a shell. Looks better than the last one. Maybe I'll shoot some paper with it and see how it looks.

I think for all around shells they won't be too bad. Most people don't know how their guns pattern anyways.

Hopefully the picture works. 2 3/4" shell, 1 oz, 8 shot, 12 gauge. BBS look better. 408 BBs.

I just bought a box today after seeing this. The one I opened up looked like it had nice round consistent shot. I didn't pattern them or anything, just shooting up close, getting trigger time on the HD gun, but they seemed to do fine for that.

Bought a bunch of the 12ga 00 buckshot. Shoots great out of my Wingmaster, H&R Pardner HD and Mossberg 500. Patterns as well as Winchester and Remington buckshot. Feeds and ejects 100%. Put a couple 100 rounds away.

Where are you getting the buck shot from. I use a lot of buck shot to test my custom builds and finding cheap ammo keeps cost down. Also, I prefer to test with the cheapest stuff I can find so if my builds cycle and function with that then there will not issues. I checked with my distributors as I would be looking for case prices, however, they only carry Tula in rifle and pistol calibers. If you guys are finding this in buck shot someone has to be distributing it. Finding out a retail source would be a start for my search.

WHAT !!! you did this outside a laboratory ??? !!!

I've shot some, just practicing with my shotguns. I didn't pattern it or anything, but it went boom every time and hit the targets I was using. Seems to be decent for the money.

Hmm, Suprema ammo is some pretty okay stuff.

A couple of points to make (about the buckshot)...
First: the ammo is pretty dirty, It leaves a plastic residue in the barrel, and it can be tough to clean out. I have found good success by shooting the Suprema, then following up with another box of cleaner shooting birdshot. This tends to remove the thick residue if you're worried about it.

Second: The brass that Suprema uses is very soft, I have had extractors rip through the rims on some of my shotguns (3 out of 9). It is very very important to test this ammo through your weapon before relying on it.

Third: there is no breakthrough with the buckshot, it tends to pattern like old fashioned buckshot. Now this isn't a bad thing about the ammo, but I thought I'd bring it up. It would be great at home defense distances (0-15 yds) but for hunting, it's not spectacular. Even with chokes, the pattern in pretty large at 25 yards.

This all being said, I use it a lot for practice, and I would recommend it. It works well when it does, but again just please be sure to test it.

I've written a short review and mentioned the buckshot in several other posts on the site, so if you have any questions, let me know. As for the birdshot I haven't tested any so I don't really know how it performs.

Thanks Scooter. I will grab a box and check it out before I do anything more searching for wholesale prices. No sense looking if I don't want the stuff. Sounds like it may very well be worth the look though. And thanks Capybara for starting the post about it.

Hey AI&P, I would see about giving Tulammo Usa a call. They could probably give you prices on it by the case.

A year ago Cabellas had an insane deal on Estate buckshot. It came out to something like 25 to 30 cents a round. I haven't seen it that cheap before or after and I keep looking. Ammoseek.com or gunbot.net are two good websites that lets you see all the prices out there for all kinds of ammo. They have good filters as well.

Very few companies give dealers a price break unless they buy a very large volume. I had to buy $7,500 worth of MI sling plates to get the distributor price. I have to buy $50,000 a year in Remington parts to get the price I get, not a problem for me as I was at over $90,000.00 after the 3rd quarter, but it sure screws the small gun repair places. Colt will not even allow an ffl to buy a Colt unless they have one of every model in their shop at all time. In January 2015 Remington stopped me from buying guns. I was the highest level of Dealer, a Remington "Master Gun Shop" and could buy, Remington, DPMS, Bushmaster, H&R and Marlin from the Factory. So, they made one above me called Master Distributor and only Master Distributors can buy guns from the factory now. And that takes an initial order of $400,000.00 and maintain $1,000,000.00 in gun purchases a year. See, it is all about the Big Boxes now and screw the small shops.

I'll grab a box and try it and if I like it I may be able to get one of my distributors to do a ten case special order. They sure wouldn't do it for less then that.
