Ruger Gunsmith Needed (PA)

It's a long story.

I have a Clark Custom Mark II and I can't get it back together. Every time I've shot it over the years I took it completely apart to clean but last year after a range trip it would not go back together. I know how to reassemble, there is something wrong. I brought it to two local smiths and both can not reassemble. One feels the modified assembly pin is the problem. I'm trying to save the money of sending it back to Clark Custom and just wanted it verified by a known good gunsmith. I'm not sure about the two I went to.

It's been well over a year and I need that gun back. It's the most accurate semi-auto I own.

He's not in PA but I'd suggest that you contact Dennis at Sarona Gun Works, when it comes to the Mark series there is no better.

Like I said, I have been doing this for many years and two other people have also tried.

Anyone know of a good Ruger gunsmith? I'm still looking, thanks...

Before going further, give the fine people at Clark a call. After explaining the history, they may be able to talk you through it.

I've got a Mk1 with Clark trigger, If you could post some good close ups of the parts I'd be happy to compare with mine and see if I can spot anything.

It shouldn''t bust the budget to call/write Clark (800 number?). A more complete description of the problem might help here; I never had all the problems with Rugers that others report, and have worked on some Clark guns, but without knowing just what "can't get it back together" entails, I can't help much.

Some of us might help, but "it won't go back together" is not a lot of information to work with.
