I tend to buy pre-owned revolvers, as the opportunity presents itself, so my next revolver purchase is unknown. I may find nothing particularly compelling for the rest of my days, or I may buy one this week. I own more Rugers than anything else, but one brand that catches my attention is U.S. Firearms.

Probably a Ruger because they are good guns and the Sturm, Ruger Company has always treated me well. However if I found a Colt Trooper MK III , Python or a Smith M29 for a good price. Oh well , I can dream can't I?

Other is for Colt Cobra (the new version). If not that probably a Ruger .44 Mag Alaskan or maybe .357 LCR.

I am lusting for a new model vaquero stainless or case hardened in .357/9mm convertible. All I see is blued?

All Vaqueros and New Vaqueros are New Models, but if you're looking for a New Vaquero, the smaller mid-frame version, in Faux Case Color, there aren't many to be had. I'd have to double check RENE to see how many, but only the first runs of the New Vaquero were case colored, I wanna say they'd swapped to standard bluing after the first few to handful of years. If you're looking for an original Vaquero, the large frame version, then the newest are already 12yrs old, so it's 100% used market. Again, I'd have to go to RENE to see how many CONVERTIBLE 357/9mm case colors of either were produced - I'm thinking pretty low numbers, hence not seeing them on the market.

I'm lusting after a Convertible GP100 from Gary Reeder, 255 Banshee and 256 Win Mag. I own the GP100 and the spare crane & pivot assembly already, so it's just a matter of saving up and having Reeder do the deal...

I really do not "need" anything but I have a hard time passing up deals on smith, dan wessons,colts.rugers.... I do think eventually a peacemaker clone or a ruger 480 mor a BFR in 475 or 480....

Last gun I bought was a Stainless 480 Ruger NIB ,4 boxes of Hornady Factory ammo and a can of Mothers metal polish for $600. Friend needed cash and I had it. I thought it was a good deal for me. I love the gun.

If I found a pre lock 627 PC or an Airweight 632 (32 H&R Magnum) for a good price I would be mighty tempted. If there were more grip options available for the roundbutt on the 8 shot Redhawk 357 I would be all over it as well. If Kimber would offer an alloy version of the K6S that would make the list.
