Your oldest automatic?

Gee, mine probably doesn't even qualify. It would be my six year old Gen4 G23.

1903 Colt .32 and it looks every year of it.

Mine is 1913. All matching.

Have to be my Colt vest pocket and/or Colt pocket hammerless (type III), both of 1919 vintage.

Colt 1911 manufactured in August of 1918.

Either my commercial Luger in 7.65 or the Spanish "Buffalo" in .32:

My H&R Self Loading 32. I think it was made in about 1919

1916 Erfurt Luger; all matching except the magazine. Liberated from Germany's V-2 Rocket factory ( The Mittlewerks at Nordhausen) by one of my late uncles in 1945 after the German surrender, when Uncle Sam went in and cleaned the place out and shipped everything to the U.S... If that Luger could only talk........ It must have an interesting story.

It doesn’t, I believe the firing pin spring needs to be replaced, has light primer strikes.

Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerles made in the 1905. It's been around the block a number of times but it still shoots.

I have had some nice old pistols. They have all morphed into revolvers. Seems that even the most spectacular semiautos don’t do anything for me. Even the PP did nothing. I only own a couple bottomfeeders now, a Taurus pt99 of recent production, and a Phoenix hp22 bought new in 2001. They ain’t got squat on my 1800s revolvers, and I care so much for them that I don’t even have a picture of them.

Shimitup's might not be the oldest ... but by far my favorite, and in my opinion, the coolest. The ol' "Super .38." Gunny's pre A1 is neat, too ...

The Mauser Model 1914 7.65 was made in 1915 or 1916. It has a stamp showing that it was accepted into Imperial service.


The Colt model 1903 32acp was made in the 1920's, IIRC.

Well, I've got all you guys beat.

1900 American Eagle Luger...the 9mm Luger cartridge wasn't even around when this was built.

...all matching, all original, and it looks brand new.

Thanks Old Dog, I've got the original sales receipt from the hardware store too, my dad bought it after the war. The trigger is heavy but clean, hope you can find a pic of the Beretta would love to see it.

Yeah, my decrepit old FN1900, 32ACP. I wouldn't have it, if it didn't shoot, but it spends most of it's time
now, unloaded, being admired, as a conversation piece. Teddy Roosevelt had one with Pearl handles,
for an EDC, and night-stand gun.

I sorta like that steampunk looking hump at the back of the slide. And, IIRC,
(thank you, JMB) the world's first auto-loader with a slide.
