As an adaptation of the oldest gun you own thread, What is the oldest gun you still shoot?

As for me, I usually get the old Trapdoors out at least once a year to keep them happy. One long rifle, and one saddle ring carbine from the South Caroline State Militia (and marked as such). Also on the once a year schedule are the Winchester Models of 1873 (1), 1892 (4), 1894 (2 but they're not old enough to worry about, both pre-64).

On a regular basis (about once a month on average) the oldest I shoot is a Winchester M1917 made in April 1918. It's still in the original configuration, with all original parts, including the barrel.

The oldest I own, in shooting condition, and want to shoot but haven't, is an old muzzle loading 8 gauge double barrel with IIRC 36" barrels. I've always wanted to fire it off at a dove shoot.

I have an 1871 Swiss Vetterli, bolt action rimfire, converted to centerfire I occasionally shoot. I have to make my 10.4x54 brass from either 348 Win or 8mm Lebel brass. Actually it shoots .429 bullets for a 44 Mag quite well.

Toss it up...custom Mauser in 308 on a Brno reciever made in 1943 IIRC, or my K-31 with a 1943 manuf. date.

Local made stuff I have a Model 43 Winchester 22 Hornet made in 1954.

everything else is fairly recent.

i regularly shoot my 1915 Tula M91 and my 1915 Tula M1895 revolver

they are also my oldest complete firearms... i have a barreled receiver for a Mauser 71/84 from 1888... if i had the parts it could be made shootable but as it is... it's only capable of being used to launch bottle rockets

I use a variety of mid 19th century arms.

An 1866 Trapdoor Springfield, 50-70 and an 1863 Burnside carbine, 54 percussion are the two oldest currently.

Prior to that I used an 1803 Harpers Ferry and a Remington percussion revolver but both have been sold.

It was "Old Timer's Day" for me yesterday at the gun range. I took several of my older guns out for a little exercise:

-Remington Model 51 .380 pistol made in 1919.
-FN Browning Model 1922 .380 pistol made in the 1930's
-Colt Woodsman 2nd Series Sport Model .22 pistol made in 1948.

I have an C96 Mauser that I occasionally put a few rounds through. I also have a 1910 prouduction 03 Springfield that gets some range time. That's my current 2 oldest.

Inherited 1873 Winchester (in .44-40) - actually killed my first deer with it a decade ago (while I was in high school).

I shot a Winchester 1886 chambered in .38-56 a couple of months ago. Wasn't mine, though; it belongs to my father. I believe it was made sometime in the 1890's or early 1900's. That's probably the oldest gun I've ever shot.

Out of the guns I own, the oldest is a Stevens 66B in .22LR and I still shoot it regularly. I have absolutely no idea when it was made, but it was prior to 1968 as it lacks a serial number. My guess is that it was made in the '40s or '50s.
