Nice.
Here's my offering, Ol Reliable here is responsible for quite a few pounds of venison over the years. I think it cost me a bit over $200 at Kmart, bought it around 1980. It's a Rem 700 ADL chambered in 30.06, It will put 5 shots right at an inch at 100 yds, it's favorite load is 57gr of IMR4350 under a 165gr Nosler Partition.
I had an O/U like the Savage 24, .22LR over 20 gauge, but the selector bar broke and the factory put a selector on the hammer, but left the non-functioning one on the rifle also. I shot a few critters with it, but it had terrible iron sights and was heavy with a scope, so I traded it away.

Thanks for additional pics, very nice, the checkering pattern looks like some of the early Pachmayer rifles I've seen.

Looks a lot like my Stevens 22/410 from the 50s, but much much nicer. Stock has the same exact shape, but is made of tenite. My favorite woods walking gun, bought by my pops many moons ago for $25.

This is my remington 721 in 30-06. It wears a weaver V-8 scope.

Same gun out for some target practice. Shot about 30 rds with a couple great groups at 50yds. 100yds I was a little shakey, but it'd be fine on a deer. Hand loads spitting 70 gr HPBT at 3300 fps.

Winchester Model 70, chambered in .270 Win. Leupold VXii sitting pretty up top. Picked it up in October and scored a fairly respectable buck with her on her maiden hunt (see profile pic). I love this gun.

You may have seen this one before. I've posted this picture on THR already a time or two or you made have read me drooling over this gun. It's taken countless squirrels and rabbits, and a few pheasants to boot. Not to mention all the beer cans and clay pigeons
Grandad gave this to me and if I have a grandchild it will probably go to them.
