Brno Model #1 circa 1947

I have several rim-fires (some would say too many) and they are all my favorites...:D As to my absolute personal favorite of all time...With out even the slightest hesitation it would be my original and first bought Brno nearly two decades ago....my original 1947 Model#1 that I bought unfired NIB. (pictured below) It would be the last gun to ever go...and has survived when times were to lean to justify it's ownership. It has also shot 10's of thousands of rounds and is as accurate as the day I bought it. It is the one that started it all and me on my Brno and CZ addiction.

My beat up old CZ 452 ZKM. The most effective critter gitter I've ever had. I only wish I could get a centerfire rifle as accurate or well balanced as it.

This is my favorite 10/22. It is serial number 4. It would be the lowest serial numbered 10/22 outside of the factory. The factory retains #1,#2,and#3. With well over 5 million 10/22's out there this is fun to look at.

My Ruger 77/22 and Savage MkII

My only 2 rimfires that kept a place in my vault, and that is saying something.

Mine is a pristine Remington 541T with a sporter barrel.

Did you swap the barrel out? The 541T came with a heavy target, the 541S came with the sporter. (Hard to tell from the pic)

I've got in no particular order:

Remington 541-S
Remington 541-T
Remington 581-S (x2)
Marlin 81DL
Winchester 52 Utah Centennial
Remington 521-T

Need to get some pics the next time I go to the range... :)

Ruger66, thats too cool.....you win. Beautiful walnut, does it have the emblem under the grip?

Best $125 I ever spent happens to be my favorite .22, Remmy 513T, it shot so well I just couldn't leave it alone. Cleaned all the old crusty stain off and found some decent walnut, added finger grooves for fun.

I've got too many favorites... here's my very special one-of-a-kind Browning BL-22, which began life as a standard Grade I, but went to Browning for a lot of additional "add-ons"... :) Engraving was done by Rob Semonis at Browning in St. Louis.

(In the background you might notice the Winchester Model 61 also... second year of manufacture (1933), with octagonal barrel. It's sort of a favorite too.)

I take this to mean "my" favorite rimfire as in the ones that are actually mine as opposed to a favorite of all rimfires I've ever seen in a photo or whatever. This one is mine and I like it a lot. It's a CZ 453 and I think the wood on it is pretty nice. I need to take a better photo since this one seems to be focused more on the tree than the rifle.

I could easily have said this Stevens 15-B is my favorite. Not only is it a tack driver as accurate as any rifle I own but my father gave it to me. I doubt anyone else would pick it as their favorite though. This rifle has taken more squirrels than all my other rimfires combined. This rifle should still be going strong in a few hundred years. It's built so simple and so strong there is very little that can go wrong with it and what can go wrong could be fixed with a rubber band and a nail.

Nice resurrection of a deserving old thread! :)

Probably my overall favorite to shoot is 2nd down from top left. The one with the most sentimental value is top right.

I have a bunch of 22's and wouldn't say these are my favorites but
they my current projects.

Here is a CZ 455 I built up from an action. Stock work includes...inletting, pillar/glass bedding/weighted/custom paint.
Action/barrel work... lighten trigger pull, polished sear, lap and threaded barrel, Cerakote in Sniper Gray. Custom bolt handle, JP main spring

Here's a Kimber just finished for the most part. I did a lot of work modifying the stock. Made and installed butt and comb adjustable hardware, removed the "fore arm belly" and reinstall Anschutz rail, glass bedded the action, cut some vent holes and cut a Anshcutz tip on the fore end made new action screws, refinished the stock with Truoil. Cut the barrel down, reinstall front sight block and thread for suppressor along with a thread protector. Have yet to work on trigger. Modified a DIP scope base to fit the Kimber's action and installed a Nightforce BR 12-42 in Nightforce rings for now.

My last 10/22. don't have enough rounds thru it yet to call it my favorite. I also have a Winchester 62A that's one of my Favorites and a Marlin 60DL that's right there with it.

One of my favorites and certainly a very rare .22 is this 1948 Benny with an Eric Johnson 5-star barrel. It still is a tack driver as this 50 yard, 5-shot group shows.

Have several that I like, but I keep coming back to my CZs.

One is a 16" Scout that serves as a light-weight squirrel gun.

But for sheer one-ragged-hole enjoyment, my favorite is my 453 American which came with a set trigger. I mod-ed it out to be a .22lr "Precision" analog for my Rem .308 PSS (i.e., tactical bolt knob, illum 3.5-12x scope, bipod, stockpack, etc).

CZ 453 American.

Or, I should say, the 453 was the favorite in my rimfire collection until a few weeks ago when I added this 452 Ultra Lux. It's unbelievably accurate with the irons as far out as I can hold and hits to POA with a variety of rimfire ammo. An additional plus is that with the 28.6" barrel the subsonic and CB-type loads are actually quieter than your typical .177 air rifle shooting pellets.
