Went and did a poor man's trigger job on mine and shot it today, it shoots nice.
may i ask why? just curious, haven’t picked up mine yet...

Smooths out the minor burrs in the action and makes for a smoother pull.may i ask why? just curious, haven’t picked up mine yet...
Good idea, but the 22 mag out of a short barrel gun is pretty much useless. The 22 mag out of a rifle is a different story!Michael A Ferber
Maybe make it with a extra .22 Mag cylinder too!
Different barrel lengths and maybe a Bird's Eye grip model with a short barrel.

A 7-1/2" Wrangler via Wyatt Erp would be a dandy!Michael A Ferber
I was thinking more along the lines of having a spare .22 Mag cylinder with a longer 7" or 7.5" barrel model.
What? Is the longer barrel something to compensate for other physical inadequacy?

Exactly!Good idea, but the 22 mag out of a short barrel gun is pretty much useless. The 22 mag out of a rifle is a different story!
That's a Beauty!
Not true at all, .22 Mag from any handgun barrel is minimum 150 fps more than .22 LR.Good idea, but the 22 mag out of a short barrel gun is pretty much useless. The 22 mag out of a rifle is a different story!
Totally disagree. 22 mag is lucky to burn half its powder out of a short barrel gun. Conclusive tests have proven without a shadow of a doubt. Not true at all, .22 Mag from any handgun barrel is minimum 150 fps more than .22 LR.
We finally got one in. I pick it up tomorrow. I'm also a RGR stockholder. This one's rollout reminds me of the P85 and the Old Army, both hitting the shelves way after intro. The Kimberley Solo was also a bad intro. We had one they sent as a sample. We had orders for 80+ before we got one six months later to sell.I let my disappointment with Ruger cloud my thoughts and failed to congratulate the OP on his purchase. The Ruger Wrangler is a very nice .22LR Revolver at a reasonable. price, and I am sure he will like it.
$199 online plus a local transfer is pretty much the going rate at this time, if you can find one of the larger dealers with them actually in stock. I expect them to sell locally at $189 or less plus tax IF Ruger ever finally ships them.

So far Ruger has made over 60,000 units. Works out to about 10,000 per month. Given that rate of production I'm not sure what more Ruger could've done to anticipate the demand.
