Plastic That Ain't Ugly

I still think the overall look of the Ruger SR9c is very pleasing to the eye. The HK VP9 and Steyr M9 also win some style points as does the Kahr CM9 for it's minimalist approach and super clean lines. The CZ P07 is a little bit "blocky" looking but I think it's business-like appearance more than makes up for it. Just one man's opinion!

Simple and clean, make mine a Glock.

Agree, I find the simple lines appealing.

Most everything else posted here has all kinds of cuts and jags and dodads that ruin it for me.

Heck, my most used Glock (Gen 5 19 MOS) has ruined it as well with the front serrations (though very useful on that slick finish).

Gen 3 or 4 is where it's at, for plastic guns, in my eyes.

The fictional antagonists in "Battlestar Galactica." They come in many shapes and sizes, but are advanced artificial intelligences, some of which assume a human form. They are even monotheists and highly devout.

Tell one to its face plate that it has no soul and prepare to run!

So where does one find real life fictional beings?

Many times I have seen negative posts about polymer framed handguns. Something along the lines of, "they might work but dang they're ugly". To be honest I've always somewhat agreed with them (I still admire the appearance of a nice revolver or 1911). I owned a few other polymer framed pistols before I got my M&P 2.0 Compact. They were all okay but when I got it I thought, "Dang, I actually kind of like how it looks." So my question is do you have a polymer framed pistol that you think isn't repulsive looking. Maybe you even think it looks kind of nice. If so please post a pic. Here is mine,

Tool, not trophy..really don't care how it looks, care how it works. Yes, there are some 'pretty' BBQ guns but for a shooter, something shot frequently for whatever reason..who cares what it 'looks' like. Some do, I guess, I really don't.
I like the look of Glocks. Practical. No need for racing stripes or accent lines. The beauty is in the function.

'Pretty' reminds me of when they made Mustangs..with a puny 4 banger in it but lots of emblems, labels, strips, etc..

You tellin' me the Phantom wasnt a work of art AND functional? :D

Thats the great thing about the pistol world- you might have to pay more, or endure a weight penalty, but there are good looking guns out there which function just as well as their more utilitarian tupperware counterparts. You can have your cake and eat it too if you want.

Yeah, so say y'all.
One of my favorite shows, and not just for Katee.
The VP70 is the only pistol I've ever fired where I had to switch trigger fingers to finish the magazine!
Looking at the 'cool factor' in that photo makes me wish I had kept mine.

The pictures in this thread are making my eyes hurt.
I don't know.
Way more blued steel than plastic in my safes, but I enjoy both equally.
And I'll bet (deep down) you do too! ;)

Say Ernie Bass, does that SR9c come with different backstraps?
