any love for the baby eagles? pref the semi compact and the compact..for some reason i think the full size ones are kinda ugly..kinda like the full size glocks..they just look kinda funny..anyway anyone have one whether is be 9mm or 40sw...polymer or metal fram..post pics if you get em

i shot my buddy's full sized baby eagle(jericho) at the range and to be honest i wasn't impressed. looks horribly ugly. never seen a compact one but as for how it shot i wasnt impressed. maybe its just me but i wasnt too accurate with it compared to my p99c(9mm). surprized to find to kick to it at all like the 50. to each his own but i dont get what the buzz is over these eagles. id say if anything go all the way and get the desert eagle if u really want one. but for the price it better cook and clean for me for $1200

I had one a metal full size model for a while. Its a great firearm; cheap, accurate, reliable and in my hands pretty comfortable. Its very similar to the CZ/Tangfolio guns and so it shares many of their merits.

Its not supposed to be like a Desert Eagle but it was given that name as a marketing ploy because it kind of looks like one.

The full-sized Baby Eagle 9MM was my first gun - bought in Feb of this year. It's been a great shooter.....low recoil, accurate, and no problems at all. Here's a picture of it:

Only thing done are the addition of the Hogue grips.....though the stock ones are equally as good.

(By the way, if the pic is too large for this site, just let me know)

to you it looks horribly ugly, eye of the beholder. i personally don't like the looks of cz's (except for satin nickel and stainless). if you like cz's the quality and detail in BE's tend to be a smidge better in a few areas.

ive shot my friends semi compact religiously, and i bet if you look hard on here you can find the pics i posted somewhere on THR.

desert eagles can be found sub 1000 if looked hard enough. 1,200 could get you one of those striped or gold ones. alot of people are willing to spend a 1000 on a 1911 but id rather get the desert eagle instead ha i think youd understand once you shoot one

I have one and like it a lot. It fits me better than the similar style pistols, has been 100% reliable, and is superbly accurate. I find it to be a more attractive pistol than similar guns but that wasn't a selling point initially. Very few people are fans of the decocker and there are even fewer when it is slide mounted. It doesn't make any difference to me. I don't carry it with the safety on and decocking is rare.

I have also done an at home trigger job (using directions online for the EAA Witness) and improved the initial DA trigger to something more reasonable. In fact, the DA is the only thing I didn't love about this pistol, but that can be altered with internal polishing and a changing of springs if you care.
