Plastic That Ain't Ugly

I beg to differ. While I own a dozen plastic fantastics. Neither are noteworthy in the aesthetics department.

My "beef" with plastic guns isn't really appearance, but rather, their almost all (outside of the SIG product line) striker fired.... and my 1911's have turned me into a trigger snob.
One of the things I like about my S&W Shield PC .380 EZ is it is hammer fired and it is a really nice trigger, almost as good as my new Colt Cobra.

My latest addition to the "Plastics that don't look half bad" thread: HK VP9. Actually it's the first HK in a long time that I really like the grip with it's interchangeable back strap and finger grooves inserts.

S&W M&P 2.0 Full Size in FDE. Sorry, I don’t have one so no photo (and I had a terrible time finding one to swipe online, google makes it harder these days.)

The HK VP9 is ok too.

Neither is good looking by traditional blued-steel-and-walnut standards, but they have a shark-like, mean, all-business look of their own.

But some plastic guns, like the Glock, are just hideous. There’s no excuse for such ugliness, no matter how functional they may be.

I was starting to get a little nauseous until I got to the Beretta on page 3. I do like the P365 and some others but most are actually quite ugly.

It took me a long time to come around to plastic pistols. My first was a G19, which I don't find to be ugly. Not pretty, just utilitarian in appearance. I don't have any pictures handy, but mine isn't anything special. It looks like a Glock. I prefer the looks of the M&P series, but I don't own one, so I won't post pictures of those. On a smaller scale, I do like the looks of the Shields that I own.
