Random Gun Pics...let’s see how random we can make it

My odd ball made from a Savage 24V . Rechambered to .223 Rem. (was .222). Barrels shortened (legal length). 20 gauge threaded for choke tubes. Modified in the gun with a rifled choke tube at the ready. Top barrel has an FN-FAL muzzle break. The items by the forearm include a brass case that holds a .223 conversion to .22 RF. A slot in the forearm holds this system. The items shown at the top of the stock are a case that is stored inside the butt and is spring load to release out the back with a 1/4 rotation of the wing on the back side of the case. At the moment it holds some .22 RF ammo. The butt and the grip cap are 1/4 inch aircraft aluminum. The barrels are regulated at 25 yards. The greenish metal finish is a baked on Guncote product and the wood is finished with a high grade auto rim product. Not shown is a butt cuff product that hold five 20 gauge rounds. A sling stud system is installed.
I have shown this before so nothing new, but it sort of fit the OP's request.

Do you still have that gun? I sure would like to see some current photos of that for better clarity. :)

Egads!!! Six pages into a random gun pictures thread and only one top break revolver and no Webleys, what is wrong with you people!!! :p

So let's have another Webley and make this pseudo random.

This is a Philip Webley, 12b made in London about 1840.
It comes to the shoulder so easy, points superbly and is an absolute joy to shoot.

I just wish I could be allowed to hunt with it :(

I get to see some neat guns by selling on consignment. Two that I have had lately were pretty cool. On was a 32 cal S&W Lemon Squeezer in very good condition. The other was a Percussion Schuetzen rifle made in Switzerland in the mid-1800's. There were two smiths named Destraz there that made rifles from 1820-1880. I would guess that this one is at least 140 years old. I thought that I had pictures but they are gone.

My grandpa's Remington .22 Short Speedmaster and my Extar EP9. Took this photo when I-1639 was being voted on and posted it on Facebook to show that under the new law, one of these firearms was now considered an "assault rifle" and the other a harmless pistol. I pointed out that grandpa's gun was now an assault rifle to show how ridiculous, stupid, and pointless the law was.

A Hopkins & Allen Safety police in 32S&W:

Hopkins-&-Allen--02a.jpg

It was somewhat different with a floating firing pin and the hammer on a cam so that after striking the firing pin it was raised up above the pin to rest directly on the frame. The rear sight was on the frame rather than on the barrel assembly.

Also the catch for the top break mechanism is a scissors type with two prongs inserted into the post and buttons on the side.
