1st 4 shots went to the right. I moved the scope adjustment 4 clicks left. Those went left more than i was planing. I noticed i didn't set the parallax for 200 yards. Put the scope back 4 clicks to where it was. After i set the parallax. Did ok then. Had some winds. The cross hatches for hold over are fine on the Burris scope. A little tough to see on the black of the target. But overall im happy.

A side note AR'S that shoot 308's with a bird cage very very annoying! I was glad when the guy next to was done. The range was busy this eve. He was nice a gave me all his brass though.

That's pretty good for those little bullets in any kind of wind!

As to the 308..... Wait till you run across somebody with a high efficiency muzzle brake on their gun. That can be upsetting from 20 or 30 ft away, It's even worse on something big.....

I’ll agree with Loonwulf… that’s not bad at all!

I wish I had access to a 200 yard range without a 75 mile drive… each way. :(

Stay safe.

That is some excellent shooting out to 200 yards especially in the wind. The farthest I've shot mine is 100 yards, and that was with no wind, it would hold just under an inch using the 7 shot magazine from a very stable bench.

BTW mine is a Savage 93R17 with the hardwood stock, and a heavy barrel, also bought at Wal Mart. The only thing I added was a Weaver 3X9 scope and a bi-pod and did a very simple trigger job on it. Simply polished the sear and reduced one coil spring.

Nothing better than a 13.5 AR pistol in 308 with a muzzle break at an indoor range :evil:

How about a 15” 6 creed snouted with a Hellfire burning full charges of H4350?

I’m actually headed out with one of my 17HMR’s tomorrow afternoon, 6” Taurus Tracker. It barks pretty loud, in its own right. Wish I had a better scope on top, but soon enough, I suppose.
