Interesting Enfields Atlantic Arms just received

I received an email this morning alerting me to Atlantic Arms having No1, MKIII Enfields for sale.
Looks to be pretty nice lot, and not the de-milled kind.

The one thing that stands out to me is, they are limited to only 5 round magazines. In the fine print, it says that 10 round magazines are "high capacity" and will be removed from the shipment if it is not allowed. I thought that 10 rounds were ok all around, and it was originally made to have a 10 round magazine.

Has anyone heard of this one before? Its a first for me for Enfields.

That is just a generic disclaimer that they put on all their rifles since many/most of what they sell is scary/banned in a few oppressive places. In other words if you buy an AR from them with a 30 round mag they’ll substitute a 10 if available before they ship it to New York. Doesn’t apply to Enfields.

Well that is disturbing. Its not like there are a ton of spare SMLE mags floating around. So, either they are mangling the rare original into a 5-rounder, shipping with an aftermarket 5-rounder, or just shipping without any magazine.

None of which is good.
