Is it just me or would anyone else like a metal-frame 10mm featuring slide cut for a red dot optic? I think this is a gap that a manufacturer could easily fill and make a profit, especially if they could do it for sub-$1k.
I think an SAO would be sublime, but I’d settle for DA/SA.
As it stands, you can get a Glock 40 or a Springfield XDM, which are both 10mm and have slide cuts, but they feature polymer frames. Other manufacturers make metal-frame 10mm such as the EAA Witness line, SIG P220, and various 1911s. However, I am not aware of any metal-frame 10mm guns that come from the factory with an optic-ready slide. I have no doubt that someone will comment about some obscure company that makes a custom overpriced gun that fits my description, but I am looking for something from the mainstream manufacturers and at a reasonable price.
