I have Beretta 92X, she said it is too big. Compact has only 10 rounds. Price around $700Beretta M9
If she finds that too bulky, Beretta makes the same gun in the "compact" model.
I'm looking to replace my wife's current gun. She has now Taurus PT809.
She wants the same size with about 15-17 rounds magazine, but a full metal frame. Preferably not very expensive. Any suggestions will be welcome.
I don't think you are going to find a metal-frame 9mm, in the capacity you specified, that is signifiantly less "too big."
What is the reason for the metal frame?
If $700 is too expensive, you are drastically limiting choices.
Consider the Smith and Wesson 380 Shield EZ. I have one. High quality. Affordable. Smaller size (single-stack magazine). Easy to operate. Ballistic performance with quality ammo is almost as good as 9mm.
I wanted to get a new gun for my wife but the guy wouldn't trade...
The Beretta 92 Compacts normally have 13 round mags. They are also now available with 15 rounders.I have Beretta 92X, she said it is too big. Compact has only 10 rounds. Price around $700
Seeing your screen name, has she looked at CZ? They have several that should meet your needs.

Easy... this is a family forum!really blew her skirt up.
I would look no further than CZ. Their line of CZ 9's would cover her want's. Yes, a 75, P-01, or PCR. The gun will last a lifetime and then some so I would figure that in as far as cost.Ummm...no need to go farther than your avatar and screen name!
Maybe a CZ PCR just to lighten things up just a bit, but if she wants heft P01.
And you mention "full metal frame" so CZ75 would fit the bill.
Be aware that IWI Jericho has a steel frame, and while it is a "mid-size" gun, it will be heavy. It is something I would certainly want to handle before buying rather than buying from an on-line source.Looks like we have a winner. Two choices
