Sorry no sidearm photos today, always have my p365 on me
Time to shovel or let it melt...Got 4" of snow today. The outdoors can kiss my ass at the moment.
Spent the early part of the week in the Smokies until we needed to evaluate our condo, because of wildfires near Pigeon Forge. Sounds like they are starting to get the fire contained.

If you are looking for a pleasant walk give this trail a try. It is one of the few trails in the Smokies that allows dogs. My wife and I call the trail Happy Dog Trail because of all the K9s we see. Goes between Gatlinburg and Sugarlands Visitor Center.
A few other pictures from our other hikes.

My carry guns for the next several months are my little-little gun (Ruger LCPII) & my little-big gun (Taurus 415 41mag).

It's weird seeing foliage still hasn't turned green yet in Tennessee yet here in Florida we're in full swing
Yes TN is starting to leaf out and there are many evergreens including laurel. In VA it still is not leafed out at all in mountains. It's weird seeing foliage still hasn't turned green yet in Tennessee yet here in Florida we're in full swing
I'm such a Floridian that I've never seen snowBro, I still have snow on the ground

Freezing yea but never snow except those super rare occasions. When I lived in Hernando County as a kid I do remember the year it got cold enough we had flurries at night. I remember walking outside at night and saw single flake fall. Closet I've gotten to it. One year during a winter I should drive or fly north for a weekend. But I wanna see picturesque countryside snow. Not city grey snowI used to live in Florida bro, in Tampa it hits freezing at least once a year
Do it!After evacuating Pigeon Forge we went to the Shenandoah Valley. We have been hiking the Shenandoah NP last few days.

We have talked to a few AT hikers that are heading north. We like to carry extra granola bars or candy for trail magic to share with the AT trekkers.

We did see a lot of whitetail deer enjoying the roadside grass.

Please note:
The fires in the Pigeon Forge area are being contained! Thanks to the fire fighters!
I also had my 41mag with me while hiking. Posting a thread 380 for bear defense would really start a discussion
