I have recently put a scope on my Springfield M1A Scout and find myself in need of a good cheek riser. Drilling the stock is not an option. Any recommendations on a good riser?

You might want to take a look at ITC. I have one of their strap on risers on both of my rifles.

My wife just asked what I am looking at and I said, "strap ons". Had to clarify.
LOL!! Yeah, I could see where that might present an issue with context!
I needed one for my Henry single shot 357 as my cheek was a good 3/4" away from the stock after mounting the scope. Digging in the stuff in storage I found a leather lace-on riser from long ago. Might have been from Lawrence or another leather goods company. Don't like the look but love the sight picture.
