You bring up a good point I wonder if gun manufactures monitor forums like this? this is a major gun forum with a lot of followers they should pay attention to what we say
If they did we'd have a lot more .32's than we do.
I've talked about this before, but the gun forums comprise about a fraction of the gun buying public. The overwhelming majority of gun owners don't shoot their guns more than once, we shoot ours a lot more and we're more in tune with what's happening than most, and even then we're a minority of a minority that actually comes on the internet to talk about it.
Now, the companies may take note of some concepts that we come up with, like Federal obviously did with that .30 Super Carry when about 6 months prior to its revealing we were batting around the idea of an 8mm cartridge that was an enhancement on the .32 ACP and .32 French Longue, but that was simply a situation where Federal was looking at what else they could offer that people seemed to want and higher capacities apparently are something even the casual gun owner wants because the casual gun owner is oblivious to the reality that having to reload after 17 rds is likely as necessary as having to wear a condom to avoid pregnancy with a woman who had her tubes tied 20 years ago when she was 40.
One thing the firearm manufacturers will not be bothering with is wondering what gun forums are saying about their lowest priced budget revolver, whose target audience is the grandchildren of some old, retired Fudd who doesn't even know how to turn a computer on, let alone use the internet.
This is why I said in the OP's previous topic on the Wrangler that it was a half hearted attempt by Ruger to gain market share, not as a product that was being demanded by potential customers, but because it was simply a cheap .22 that had the Ruger name and phoenix slapped on it.
