Hey all quick question. I am thinking of buying an HK for my H.D. gun. I went and spent some time holding the P2000 and USP compact today and I am leaning towards the USP. I thought that I had read somewhere that HK had done away with the rail on the USP that only uses a HK made light. However none of the USP's had a universal rail. Am I wrong? Do they still only have the HK rail on them?

HK wants you to spend even more money on their products, so they use a proprietary rail system.

thankfully, there's adapters...

To be fair, the USP is 20 years old, before most handguns had rails at all. Looks like you can get adapters on ebay for ~$25.

"because you suck..." Really? Can't we just talk about HK without that?

The USP is only 17 years old BTW (That's brand new in gun years.) It was also one of the first to incorporate a rail system.
