It's been a good while since I have last posted anything, but no fear, I have been too busy shooting and working to put my $.02 worth on here.
Alas, a job has come up that would require me to stay in the Washington DC/Falls Church area anywhere from 1 to 3 months.
Here is what my predicament is. I will be selling retail pumpkins and Christmas trees. I will be holding cash on me from the sale. I will be responsible for the cash, my safety, and the safety of others while working and during transit (Immigrant workers, to be specific).
I do hold my VA Concealed Carry Permit, but the whole DC thing has me scared to take it up there...even if it lives in my hotel room.
I have considered other options, like Wasp/Hornet Spray, Kimber Pepper Blaster II, a knife, etc.
Pepper spray has a range of 10-13 feet max? Bee spray can shoot a stream 25 feet...and I've heard from people around here that it hurts just as bad. Thoughts?
Your thoughts? I want to keep this as legal as possible, but a small benefit of the doubt is acceptable. I'm just a little unfamiliar with such restricted gun laws like the DC area. Being from SW VA, I have swapped sizes with a cop...my 1911 vs his Glock!!
