Hello,
Bit winded but appreciate anyone giving some good opinions.
I have owned: PF-9, PM40, P99, Mil Pro .40, Taurus 650, P22, P3AT.
Still have P22 and P3AT. P22 = wife, P3AT = my pocket.
Now I am looking for the home.
I have small hands and enjoy the physics and aspects of a compact. Works best for my small handed/framed gal too.
All the compacts run in the same price range give or take with a $20 variation.
I know them all pretty well, but just can't decide. I am looking at resale mostly. It is unlikely to be used more then a few times for range fun and not much else but a few hikes so I would hate to pick one that I loose my shirt on. Are they all equal on resale from your experiences? Compacts seem to be most in demand...is that accurate?
Would anyone agree that the xd feels too blocky and high bored, the glock 26 too small on the grip and yet too fat (don't like the grip angle either), the M&P too wide? HK 2000 nice but a bit too much money.
I loved my p99, but have concerns that the small compact would have even more unpleasent recoil.
Actually like the Taurus PT's and 24/7's (gasp) but know they are coming out with new models soon, so it would be silly to buy current. Then new models would then be untested.
Thanks. Appreciate it
