That article is intended for two related purposes: 1) to slander and smear the NRA as dangerous and out of touch with reality, and, 2) to keep stoking the fire of hatred and widen the gap between those that support the 2a and those that want it repealed.

The media understands that we are no longer a Republic but a country where politicians pander to the whims of those that will vote for them.

You may wonder, "how can these liberals not see that more restrictions will only harm law abiding citizens?" The thing is, liberals rationalize by emotion. Conservatives tend to rationalize by fact-based logic. Unfortunately, this seems to be the way our entire country is going.

I want a .30 titanium can and my wallet says I had better wait for a few more months. :banghead:

And that's why No Compromise. I don't know anyone that crazy on my side of the fence.

Awesome journalism. Under More Related Stories they recommend some great selections: cleavage, a wall powered bedroom toy and a type of sex. They should stick to what they know, and I don't think it's suppressors.

"Alexander Zaitchik is a journalist living in Brooklyn"

This was the biggest lie in the whole piece. When your article references one of the people it is reporting on as "this a**hole" then you are no longer in the realm of journalism.

After reading this article, I think we should legalize crack so we can tax the authors habit.

I think I got brain damage reading it.:banghead: So many completely clueless statements.

Hand grenade fishing?
They pulled that out of a suppressor support campaign?
These people are some kinda special!

What a crock. Conservatives are every bit as guilty of using emotion. Look at the nonsense they use to justify their positions on abortion, marriage, school prayers, etc.

Both sides of the political spectrum are equally guilty of using emotion to overcome places where they lack fact.

Guilty? Hell, it's why the Democrats have the upper hand.

Been thinking about one for awhile now and tax return's coming. What do you think, 9mm can on G17 or a .45/G21?

Zardaia, get the 45 can, you can use it on the 9mm. You can later decide if you "need" a 9mm can after that.

Ever wonder why we are where we are?

They are arguably smarter than we are as a group. While we split into groups like black powder, shotguns, action pistol, precision rifle, hunters and the list can go on for pages. They divide and conquer, that widens the gap. Throw you fellow 2nd supporters under the bus because it sounds "OK" with you and they will eat the elephant one bite at a time.

You sound like a reasonable fact finding person to me. How many legally owned suppressors have been used in crimes, in the USA. In the last year, 10 years, 50, what ever facts you can find. My mind can be changed with logic.

More histrionic and more emotional, perhaps. But smarter? People who are so stupid that they can't recognize the ineffectiveness of their "fixes" for social ills are not ones I would number among the smart.
