I paid $18.97 for the last bricks I bought in a retail store. Blazer bought in GA last summer. Prices are only triple now. What a bargain! What was a brick before the "panic"
Those were items that had actual bids on them and were nearing the end, I don't know how to find actual ending prices either (only bought one item off GB in my life and that was a pistol) but several of these had multiple bids and were within a few minutes of closing so unless there was same major sniping they probably ended in that vicinity. Are those typical listing prices by the sellers, or did you discover how to find out the actual sales transaction prices?
As of this morning there are a lot of .22 listings that have no bids and that is good. One fine seller has two bricks of Blazer for $165 as a starting point with no bids. The guy is so nice he is offering free shipping.
As soon as the flippers cannot double their money they will back off but as long as there are people willing to pay stupid prices for bulk ammo there will be someone willing to rip them off. I fully understand a person paying outrageous prices in order to have something for their gun but why pay crazy prices for plinking ammo?
I was a bit dismayed when Cabela's offered some .22 yesterday in 100ct boxes but limited it to one box. At least they have it available at a reasonable price and if I needed some new boots or a tent I can get a box of ammo too.
