Favorite 9mm handgun

Favorites full sized:

Astra A-100. I've never had a bad Astra gun, and the A-100 I recently sold was very cheap and 100% reliable. Made nearly 100% profit on it when I sold it!
Beretta 92FS, really regret selling it, so smooth.
Tanfoglio "Mossad", a few scratches on it, and messed up grips, but it shoots great. A little sandpaper and varnish will have it looking real good.
Sig 226, shot a friends, have wanted one since.
CZ SP-01, wished they made it in SS.
S&W 5906, one of the greats.

Compacts:
Astra A-75, great all steel little gun.
CZ PO1-It's just right.
Tanfoglio "Mossad", same as it's big brother, some scratches, and the grips are better than on the big one. It shoots as good as the P01 in every way.
S&W 3913, I wish I had kept it. Made too much money on it not to sell it.

Recently bought this S&W M&P Shield 9mm. 8 in mag, + 1 in chamber = 9 rds.
Shoots accurately, fairly compact , fits in pocket. Easy to break down and clean. Light recoil. So far I love it.

Not only are you a SIG fan but a CZ fan as well...done, sir! Would choose a West German P228 as my #1 9mmP as they are incredibly-engineered, incredibly-reliable, high-capacity pistols with superior metallurgy and internal fit&finish.

That said, my CZ BD PCR is almost as accurate as my 9mm SIGs [so close!] and really easy to carry, usually in the same leather holsters.

I've tried to adopt a later model H&K many, many times...but just can't get over that trigger flex. Drives me nuts trying to compensate and hope for a clean break.

That said, when working on my property, my carry most of the time is a P-11 Kel-Tec with nearly 3k round thru it. Has been imminently reliable...and if something untoward happens [that is, if it's lost during bush-hogging] it has paid its fare many times over.

Would very much like to see someone start a similar thread dedicated to .357SIG...could be the ultimate pistol caliber ever developed in the intermediate bore.

This thread title is similar to others. Otherwise, can't imagine how I missed it.

The answer is clear: Browning Hi Power.

My favorite 9mm handgun has been my customized CZ SP-01 with competition hammer, SAO trigger [@ ~2.5lbs], short reset [firing pin block removed], and competition sights. It feels awesome in the hand, has excellent recoil absorption, and is my most accurate handgun.

I have a couple others i like but i think this one is my favorite.

Mine was the Sig 226 I had done up at Robar many years ago...but now it's the Glock 34. For some reason I can shoot that thing better than any cenerfire handgun I have ever owned....(With results of 2 first and 1 second in my class (Expert, soon to boost up to D.E.) in the last 3 competitions I have entered with it this past year.

For about $7000.00 the Korth with the plasma finish would be mine. If I had $7000.00 and was single!

I have a Glock 19 that I've treated like a red headed mule. It shoots and I wouldn't care if it fell down a flight of concrete stairs. It was born ugly.
I don't own one but I always thought the CZ's were beautiful. One day I may treat myself to one. But for now I'll keep beating the bag off of my Glockenstein.

CZ's SP-01 is pretty pimp right out of the box. But my favorite is my $299 Turkish Beretta Clone. It's cost $299 and hasn't missed a beat.
