I'd bet you could make book on that.

Obviously the guy was a Californian transplant (yeah, I'm making an assumption, but probably a good one)
The p-bass needs a fair amount of work but the basics are there. I had one guy here ask me about a selling price and a couple locals from another board ask. I may just get some cash for it and see what kind of deal they will make on the Fender.Wait...... A shop in NV called that an assault weapon. NV??!?!??!
I hope for your sake they are equally as ignorant about the Fender P-bass too.
The pawn shops here in Las Vegas are probably overstocked with guns that won't sell due to the fact they price everything at full retail price no matter what condition it is in.
Are they all Vegas "pawn shop bargains" ? Nice stable, but where ya gonna get your ammo, with all the .22 LR "shortage" ?And no this isn't my only .22 rifle. Since every thread is worthless without pics, here is a shot of the harem.
Top to bottom(or right to left since my uploader is goofy)
Marlin Model 39 (not 39a)
Browning BL-22
Savage Stevens made Sears .22 marked as a Ranger with an ancient 4x Weaver scope. This thing is more accurate than the ruger.
The Ruger 10-22 carbine with cheapo Tasco scope.
barnbwt;9299591 I'm not saying it because his "policy" was more accurate there said:Well.... I guess the proximity of NV to CA would/could give validity to the assumption. I didn't think of that.
But... rimfires are exempt from the CA AWB "features list" (folding stocks, mag out side the grip, flash suppressors, etc). And tube fed rifles are exempt from the >10 round ban because those darn cowboy shooters said they wouldn't fight the ban as long as they exempted their guns. I only know of a couple >10 round rim fire tube fed rifle.
As far as Californians being un-aware, I'd venture to say that most everyone in CA that has an interest in guns IS aware of the rimfire rules.
And all of the anti's wish there wasn't any exemptions because they are trying to save the children from all of the mass murders caused by gangs of rimfires roaming the streets and killing the innocent children while giving a free pass to all of the safe LEO's that fired well over 100 rounds into a blue Honda Ridgline with a 50+ and 70+ year little Asian women inside because they Mistakenly thought it was a grey Nissan Titan with a large Male African American ex-cop inside during their search for Dorner.
But I digressed and didn't mean to derail the thread. In short, proximity of NV to CA worthy of the assumption but IMO 2A Californians are pretty well knowledgeable and wouldn't mistakenly classify a 10/22 as an AW (unless they were actually antis of course).
What'd 'ya huntin' with in Huntsville ? Hope it's not a gee-tar .Why not an American Fender? I always thought they sounded better.
Who knows ? Personally, I'd like to get off the musical instruments, and get back to guns !That was a Nevada pawn shop employee who gave that advice?
There is a reason there aren't many squirrels in my neighborhood."Assault Rifle"???
I suppose that depends on what you're assaulting.
Shame on you, squirrel assaulter ! How did you fix them, and how did they taste ?There is a reason there aren't many squirrels in my neighborhood.
