I waited two months for my LGS to get me one. Finally gave up and ordered it from Buds and had it in three days. I like to buy local, but he was o.k. with it and I paid him $50.00 to do the transfer which is more than twice his normal fee.

I own two of the "X" frames in S&W 500. I've also shot the 460 quite a bit. They are great guns and well worth the money.

Maybe the lights aren't bright enough and the "mood lighting" is causing your expansion issue. ;)
