Unfortunately I have no other equipment as I really never got into reloading. I was only stocking up brass for when I did make the leap so I'd have to count by hand... :) I'm going to take this in to work and weigh and see how much it comes out to for a little more accurate figure of my count...

You will get more information there, but that site is basically full of internet operators who will just further the "if it's not Colt/LMT/Noveske, then it's junk" which is poor advice.

I disagree with your sentiment that if you don't get Colt, Noveske, or LMT that you might as well not get any AR. That's just silly sack-riding of those brands. For a new AR shooter that wants to shoot from a bench, he really does not need to spend $2k on a name, unless he wants to brag about...

Why dodge the questions? No offense, but there just seems to be a bit of "internet operator" attitude going on in your posts. Proper training and and practice is what is going to give you a bigger edge you can get, not a rifle with a particular name stamped on the side.
