Couple of weeks ago...I had a 223 case (lubed) seize up in the resizing die...all efforts to remove were going no where....ended up hammering the decapping pin/shaft down and out of the die, bent the shaft doing so. Sent RCBS an email asking where I could find a replacement...as mine was not a threaded shaft, but a smooth shaft, using a compressing collet to fix its length. RCBS replied same day, telling me my die set was so old, that it was discontinued, parts no longer available. I replied the die was undamaged, just the decapping pin/shaft was bent. A day later, got an email from RCBS, saying they were sending me a part that would convert my old die from smooth to using the new threaded shaft, and two days later.....the part arrived, with TWO new shafts with decapping pins....NO CHARGE....
