I will miss Will, too bad he never felt well enough to make it to an Indy 1500 gun show. Oleg, you were a good friend to him, he really liked you. Will was a patriot, he served his country and did things others wouldn't dream of. It played a part in his problems, but we are all benefitted from his actions.

Rest in Peace Will and say hello to Roscoe for me.

Good Evening All-

Between the death of labgrade and now Kentucky Rifle it's been a sad couple of weeks. Best Wishes to his family and friends...

I don't know what to say. He was one of the first of the friends I ran into when I joined TFL years ago. It just doesn't seem possible that he is gone. This is terrible.

From Johnny Cash's I Hung My Head...

And out in the distance
A trick of the brain
I see a lone rider
Crossing the plain

And he'd come to fetch me
To see what they'd done
And we'd ride together
To kingdom come

I guess he's now with Labgrade, up in heaven where the ammo is free, the days aren't too windy, and the ranges go out to a mile. :)

In honor of Will. :(

Like many, I only knew him here.

fwiw, he was very fond of this board and thought highly of you all too. Here are a couple of recent quotes from him:

"We don't have children and the only people that love me are friends. Mostly people on this very board."

"High Roadsters: I'm deeply proud to be associated with all of you."

Will

So sorry to hear the passing of a fellow Nam Vet. I don't post often but a Nam vet that loves dogs, deserves my attention at this time. Sure hope someone is taking care of his friends.

Will was imbued with an almost childlike curiosity about the things around him. He and I met when he became curious about all things Jewish and for some reason, chose me to ask questions of. Sometimes I would get multiple PM's and emails per day with questions galore or him trying out another joke. We've communicated steadily for a couple of years now and I've grown to trust and admire the man for his fortitude and innate ability to enjoy life no matter what. In recent months, he taught me about myself and taught me to walk a little taller, and hold my head a little higher.

I will miss him, my curious old friend, and I will always remember him.

I hope you are in a better place, Will. Save up some ammo for when the rest of us get there.

-James

I am going to miss his posts he always either spot on with his answer or was looking for the correct answer, I will have to make it to the range and fire off a 3 shot volley from my 1894C in his memory, cause he liked his muchly

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His light shine upon you, now and forever more.

I am very sad. KR was a fine gentleman and I will miss him very much. God bless him.:(
