Rest in peace rcmodel. It seems I can't find meaningful expressions for the sadness I feel for losing him and all he was to THR. My prayers for his family. I always read his posts with eagerness to learn of the knowledge he had to offer. As another member has stated, "I always intended to send him a PM just to let him know how much I appreciated all the knowledge he offered to the reloading forum, but never seemed to quite get around to it."

Very sad news. My condolences to his family and friends.

A big hole here without this gentleman around. We will all miss his knowledge and personality.

It's pretty amazing that the man has passed, and he's still teaching me things.

Wow. Thank you gspn. That's a special look into rcmodel's life thirty years back this very summer.

I just hope I can make a difference in the lives people like rc did.

What a bummer. I've learned a lot about reloading reading here. I figured out quickly if it was posted by rcmodel it was solid information. Thanks for your contributions. RIP.

I rarely post, but I read the forums often. RC was a fount of knowledge. I'm thankful for the wisdom shared and stored here on THR, and saddened by his passing.

I haven't been to THR much the past couple of weeks as I have been on an overtime job that is a long drive from home. This is sad news. I always enjoyed reading what rcmodel had to post. He was knowledgeable about so many things. He will be missed.

First time I've logged on in a while, This is devastating news. I've taken so much knowledge from RC's posts on this forum over the years. I've always looked forward to his input on reloading, knives, grips, and everything else. His posts and knowledge were invaluable when I started reloading. He will be greatly missed.

Looking at all these amazing tributes, it's wonderful to realize that a person these days can find a community, maybe even a family, online. While devoting his life to the care of his spouse he was still able to reach out and touch others with his skill and knowledge.

RIP RC, and thanks for all you contributed.

I was at the funeral home today for the visitation and had a chance to mention to his daughter in law how much Richard meant to so many people. She and the family appreciate all the kind words and tributes.
There is a memorial video up at the mortuary website. Some old photos and some recent ones.

Hello friends and neighbors,, haven't posted since July of 2014 but I must say RC was a blessing to this site and to me. He answered many questions and always gave great advice.
I hope his family can find peace and I hope to meet him in the next life.

Thanks for posting his pic. Nice to put a face to his name.
