Moving soon to Colorado, one of two or three states with an odd 15 round limit on magazines. I need a new full size 9mm since my dad took my (actually his) Ruger P-95 back, but most of them seem to have standard magazine sizes of 16 rounds or larger.

I'm looking for exactly 15. Glock 19 is probably going to be my choice, and I believe the Beretta 92F is also a 15-rounder. But what else is out there with standard magazines that are exactly 15 rounds?

SIG-Sauer P-226 comes with the standard SIG 15-round flush-fit mags (which are typically superb).

Although one can buy the excellent Mec-Gar flush-fit eighteen rounds and the slightly-extended 20-rounders for when you visit other states.

Browning hipower can use Mec-Gar 15 rd mags. Of course, you may be looking for a polymer/modern pistol.

15 rounds is the most common hi-cap mag size - used in many full size and some modern compacts. You'll have to narrow it a bit more.

Glock 19, SIG P226, Beretta 92, HK VP9, HK USP, and my personal favorite of the bunch, the HK P30.

There's the venerable Smith and Wesson 5906 if you like old school, all steel, feed-rocks-if-you-can-stuff-them-in-the-mag, 15 round, undervalued, usually underpriced, world class history maker.

It is a great gun.

On the other hand, if you want striker-fired plastic give the Sig 320 a look-see. It's better than the Glock out of the box and you wouldn't be disappointed, under-gunned, or worried about your safety with in a holster or a night stand.

I'm also hearing there are now 15-round Glock 17 mags available, which would also then fit the various Glock 17 and Glock 34 models.

I agree with Post #4, narrow it down.

Big fan of my CZ P-07. G19 sized with a better trigger from the factory, capable of becoming exponentially better than the best Glock trigger while still being perfectly safe.

Some great suggestions here.

I always forget about SIGs, I tend to think of them as just above my budget but I forget that they have several models that aren't as pricey

If there are budgetary considerations maybe check out the SIG P2022 while you're at it. A great DA/SA gun at a very reasonable price. A CZ P07 would also be another decent 15 round magazine 9mm.

Decide first what kind of trigger you want (Glock trigger in a trigger or Beretta DA/SA) and whether you want hammer (i.e. second strike capability) or striker-fired. Then choose. All of the above are good choices. A Beretta 92 will be classic if you want hammer-fired, be easy to find parts for, and have lots of aftermarket choices for grips, add-ons, etc.

Rarely gets any press, but I absolutely love my Beretta PX4 Storm Compact. 15 round mag, but will accept 17 as well. One of my favorite guns, hands down.

Had it out yesterday and it shoots a ragged hole at combat ranges, super easy to conceal and functionally perfect over the years I have owned it.

Lots of good guns in this category, and I have a Sig P220, P229 Legion and 3 92FS', but I continually go to the PX4.
