So I have this habit of driving out to where people dump trash and looking for treasure. I've found quite a bit, not to mention people shoot guns there and leave brass.
But anyways on my latest trip by I found a lee load-all 12 gauge press. It's in descent shape, but I couldn't find the lid and stuff. Looks like it's missing the primer seater too. i can hardly imagine this thing actually loading a shotgun shell even in new shape, but I notice the reviews online are excellent so I guess it works.
Anyways I have no need for it and I doubt it has any street value. I've seen guys make can crushers from mecs, is there any repurposing anyone can think of for one of these? Some other reloading function of anything off the wall even.

Too light for a decent weight for a trot line. If you added some weight to the base, you could use it as a door stop though.

Perhaps use it as part of a piece of Gun Art or as part of a personal shrine for all things Lee Precision?

I have one of these contraptions that I bought in the mid 1990s. Put it away after loading a couple 100 (maybe 600ish) shot shells. My interest in shotgun at the time had to take a back seat to family life. So I put it away and intend to keep it put away. The thing works but is not elegant or fun to use. I'm thinking about starting back up making shot shells although I know it's not cost effective but I just like to make my own ammo. I'm thinking about getting something a little bit better. There are plenty of good quality used reloaders for sale around here.

Trotline weight?
It's so light it may float. Make a trot line jug!

Yea you can probably find a mec size master for $100. I'm not a fan of any that don't size the base.
I've got a shot dropper and lots of wheel weights so we're still loading on the cheap. But I had to load any in several years since I'm not shooting trap and only go through a case of so a year these days.

That is exactly what I want. There are many 600s and 650s but as you say I want one that resizes and also has an auto primer feed, so that is the size master, just waiting for one to pop up.

Well, if it were me, and I had no use for it, I'd just put it back at the dump and someone who would want to take the time to resurrect an old tool can find it. That would be hard for a tool nut like me though, I might fix it up jes because, even if I don't reload shot shells...

My father was in the rubbish collection business for 30+ years. I worked on the route in Jr. High and High School summers and between jobs after school. At one time I ran the business/drove/picked up trash for 3 years full time. I found that sometimes folks throw away perfectly good, functioning stuff just because they're tired of looking at it, or they've replace an item with a newer model or any reason (I've found everything in the trash from a live rat in it's cage to money). So, just because an item is at the dump doesn't mean it's no good...

I'm starting to wonder if FS is going out of business. I've been on the email list for a while for getting a couple of items. I've watched the safe items come in stock & out again a few times at Titan. I've been a happy customer of FS for a long time but finally gave up & ordered from Titan.
