if i could own one rifle, it would be one that is so close i can almost smell it, but will probably never make into my collection. my grandpa owned a 721 Remington in .270 I'd do almost anything for. He was a great man, who loved to hunt and the outdooors. i'd always secretly pined for it, but when he passed away, my grandmother gave it to his son, which is both understandable and unfortunate. understandable of course, due to the heritage, unfortunate becasue my uncle isn't a hunter, shooter, or avid outdoorsman of any kind, and truthfully has never been seemingly fond of me, making the chance i could someday acquire it even more slim. i inherited almost a dozen guns from his brother a few months back, and while i appreciate each and every one of them, that 721 is my Grail gun....not just ANY 721, but he one my grandpa used so efficiently.
