If I forget the targets, I have a magic marker in the range bag for emergency targets. Like a sheet I use to log numbers.a paper plate with an X in the middle made with a marker.
Lol, great minds think alike. I have several markers because if I had only one it would not work. It's just my luck lol. With the target with five "crosshairs" I can staple four of them to the cardboard at the 100 yard line and be able to shoot awhile before changing targets. That helps when the range is busy.

For decades, I have used bingo daubers and cheapest 8.5"x11" copy paper for targets. Couple of bingo daubers will last you a lifetime.I cringe at the ink it must use.
I am going to do that as well. I just didn't get how the RN shot better then FN. I will do another workup and shoot off my rifle sand bag.
what do you suggest?Looking at those groups I wouldn't say one shot better than the other. I couldn't really see a pattern for either one of them. That said, my best groups were never with hp-38/win231.

Had every thing loaded up, fighting with nasty cold so I didn't make it to the range, sorry. Have not forgotten though.
Some zipped up printable targets.
The RMR 124gr FMJFN bullets are definitely very accurate, and I have proven it at 15yards in 357sig.

I am still chasing accuracy with this bullet in 9mm, but it is definitely not the bullet.
With my testing lately I think I have come to realize that the right powder at the correct weight with a good bullet will shoot accurately. It is just a question of finding that sweet spot, and then the shooter must also deliver. My best so far in 9mm is a .92" at 15yards, which is #15 on my most accurate list. There is definitely some place for improvement. Over the next few weeks I am probably going to try and find that sweet spot in 9mm. Will keep you posted.
what do you suggest?
Wait a minute, "an unknown pulled powder"??? How on earth did you work up a load for that? Just weigh it from a pulled bullet and start there?
I always use CFE-P on the weekend. Save the HS6 for weekdays.Any recommendations of what day to use for the HS6 and CFE?
