What is your ‘funnest’ gun?

At the risk of being the first cliche', I have the most "fun" shooting my AR. I am more "serious" about pistol shooting, and my hunting rigs are highly-respected tools. But my AR and AK are for fun.

I get a lot of fun mileage out of an AR as well.

Its a pics kinda day:

Marlin guide gun 45-70. 350 grain cast over trailboss. Everyone loves it, very accurate.

My boring, generic 10/22.

Cheap to buy, cheap to shoot and accurate as anything.

The most accurate

This home-built AR pistol with a .22lr conversion kit is some serious fun. I dont think it has ever jammed.
Runner-up would have to be a bp revolver.

Nothing makes me smile like the "cat sneeze" load out of my 308 Savage Hog hunter, with the suppressor on it.

Whichever one I happen to be shooting...

Man, picking one is tough. It would be a close call between my 7.62x39 bolt action Savage and my 1929 Winchester 57 .22 Everyone I hand those guns to never wants to hand them back. LOL

At this point, I would say my home built AR in .300 AAC. It's accurate and has mild recoil.

got a safe full of funnest.... but Springfield Armory M1A and an old Ruger .44 mag carbine are used a lot for the hell of it. Also a cheapo ugly Hi Point in .45acp, lots of fun using it.

357 Rossi. It's the Daisy Red Rider for adults.

My belt fed fully auto 45-70 rifle!! Throwing 500 bricks in 5 seconds! LOL.

My Marlin 45-70. Its just something about getting the snot kicked out of me. I decided to not go with quick release scope mounts cause id be poor from shooting irons all the time for fun.

Ruger 22/45. Thousands of rounds through two of them and still going.

If we are only talking rifles, I have to pick my Bergara B-14. With a range finder handy nothing is safe out to 500 yards.

Ruger 10/22. Fun to shoot as is, fun to customize and shoot some more, easy to set up any way you like.

My Remington 510 Targetmaster.

Once or twice a week, spring through fall, you'll find me on the back patio enjoying a beer and shooting my Targetmaster loaded with shorts or CCI Quiets with my daughter while I'm waiting for the charcoal grill to heat up.

For pure fun and giggles,,,
It's my Taurus 22-PLY & 25-PLY.



I don't take them out all that often,,,
But when I do they make me feel like James Bond.

I always want to re-enact the opening sequence from Dr. No with them.

My Beretta NEOS Carbine is a close second.

My CZ 512 .22 Mag.

I don't know which is the most fun. My M1 Garand and M1 Carbine are both lots of fun. The Rossi 92 38/357 and Marlin 45-70 are both fun. My 22 Hornet is also fun... Right now though I'm probably shooting my CZ 452 17HMR the most. It's fun, super accurate, cheap to shoot, quiet, has no recoil and is a blast popping tiny little targets out at 200 yards with it... I just crank the elevation knob to the yardage and have at it...

Most fun is my Taurus Raging Bull .454. It always puts a smile on my face.

But since this is rifle country, I have to say my Henry .22 Lever action. Close followers are the Garands and AR10.

Old Marlin 1894 and SBH in .44 mag.

Yep, I've got 3 and they are a total hoot. Kids love 'em, buddies request I bring 'em every time we plan a range trip, cheap(ish) ammo, and -best of all- the local pistol ranges let me shoot 'em indoors.

My dad LOVES old milsurps- but he was 60 the first time he shot a .30 carbine. It was a revelation! Rarely have I seen him that giddy.

Henry in .22lr. As well as being a blast to run the lever and cheap to shoot, it is also my first gun so it hits right in the nostalgia.
