These were finely built machines cant imagine why they stopped importing them, if one wants a .44 spl in this flavor they may be well served with offerings from Ruger, Smith, and Charter (the first two more so than the latter.)
Not available new...no longer made. So the used price varies. Doing a search for ones SOLD on GunBroker I see 400, 380, 350. 333, and 399. Plus shipping and transfer cost of course.
Some folks of course have payed less and possibly some have payed more.
Poor old Rossi was always short shifted as an inferior product but over the last fifty years I have had three including a mini 1911 and all were very serviceable.

I had a 3" with fixed sights. Great little gun. 5 shot 44spl. in stainless. Wish I had kept it. I think I paid $400 for mine and let a guy talk me out of it. I have seen several over the past few years and now that I want another one, of course they have all disappeared!
I paid $330 for the adjustable sight model 2-3 years ago on GB, IIRC. It is a LOT of fun to shoot. Everyone who has tried it has enjoyed it.
I paid $300 for the fixed sight model at a pawn shop about a year ago. They were asking $350 but quickly accepted my offer of $300. They seemed to think that a Rossi was just a cheap gun that should be unloaded ASAP.
