Kind of funny but I just read on one of my news feeds an article on the "do it all" 38 special and the author starts off by telling about the "powerful" new 38 just in time for the Philipine insurrection where it "established" itself as a great cartridge. I have not commented yet but am phrasing my statement.

Kinda funny, isn't it, how the US Army didn't jump on the bandwagon and adopt the .38 Special, isn't it? :)

I'm just curious, has anyone advocating for Buffalo Bore and Underwood actually sent their ammo over a chrono from the gun they intend to carry them in? Results? High of lower that advertised? (no embellishing please)

Sir, please see my post just a few before yours with chronograph results from Buffalo Bore hardcast wadcutters. My experience has been that they are reliably within an acceptable deviation of their published numbers.
