The end of this story is how well my Wife shoots her new EVO from the custom shop of Kimber. After six years of having problems with her Solo, Kimber gave her a brand new EVO and a really nice knife to make up for the price difference. Here is a gong made from a cut off fire extinguisher. It was 50 yards out. She just plastered it! Guys on the line couldn't believe how well she was hitting it. About 75% of each mag. WOW! Really proud of her! IMG_2792.JPG IMG_2793.JPG

Nice! I handled an EVO a week ago. The trigger is very nice. Ergos were good too.

If it's reliable, that's a winning combo.

I've seen many women shoot with great expertise. Good on her!
Don't know why some people find it surprising that women can shoot well.

Women typically have better hand-eye coordination than men( :( ) and one thing this shows up in is target shooting. My mother once out shot an Alabama sheriff with his own revolver, much to his embarrassment and everyone's surprise. She'd never fired a revolver before - - - - - but she taught riflery at girls' camp during summer break from college.

Pat Two-five and Charlie Two-five back in 1973. Same badge numbers.
My wife consistently out shot everyone in the SO during qualifications. By the time the rest of the Deputies would speak to her it was time for quals again.
She still out shoots me on a regular basis. Makes me proud as can be.
She's won tomahawk throwing contests in 5 states too.

I go to my local indoor range at least twice a week. Know most of the regulars, know all the staff etc. One day, I take my favorite stall. Next to me come two women. About 30-35 years old. Good looking women, not beautiful but attractive. Had a look of a certain hardness about them. Hard to actually describe. It was obvious that they were very physically fit. Here is the thing. They came in, very quiet, they both carried a black tactical bag with their gun and magazine. They hardly spoke at all to each other. All their movements were Precise, not wasting time. Like they had been programmed to do this exercise and have done it hundreds of time. One women, sets the targets and begins fast action shooting and nails the frigging target with very tight groups. In the meantime the other gal, is sitting behind her loading mags. Then they switch positions. No Speaking, no talking, just by the number movement. The new Girl Nails bullseys like it was nothing. Sets a tarket to 15 yds and they reapeat the process.
Then again at 25 yds. One shooting, one reloading.
They end with just about 10 words to each other, pack up fast at leave.

I have to say I was a little turned on. My kind of women. When I ended, and packed up, I went to my old Friend that works at the shop. I inquired about the two girls. He gave me a big laugh. He said he could not say much, but that they worked at Langly.which is not far from Virginia Bean where I live.

Yes. Boy's, do not under estimate a woman with a gun. They can be good, very good.

And very COOL at the same time.
