Trump has been doing the exact opposite of being pro-2A. He may have A rate from the NRA, but he gets an F from anyone who has been paying attention.
Soooooo, had Hillary won in 2016, we would be in a better place gun rights/2A wise? :barf::barf::barf::barf:

MAKE NO MISTAKE, we DODGED a big bullet with Trump win. While I disagree with his position on bump stock, I have hope he will change his position on suppressors.

DO YOU ACTUALLY REALIZE that his conservative federal and SCOTUS appointments will rule in favor of gun rights/2A likely for GENERATIONS? YES, GENERATIONS with decisions/precedences setting to possibly affect judicial ruling for centuries!:thumbup::thumbup:

Do you feel better about President Trump now? :p

I sure hope so. :D

Maybe, if Clinton had won the Electoral College vote the GOP in the senate and house would have been more obstructing than they are now.

I'm not saying Clinton would be made impotent by Congress in all things, but would the GOP be more likely to interfere with the progressive's agenda? No one can say.

Impotent or not depending on the makeup of Congress, a President can still do a lot of things that are harmful to 2A rights. There is still an awful lot of protecting going on with regard to the Clintons and Obama.

It's not just Federal Judges, folks. While shooting trap Thursday, the construction company next to us had a 9mm subgun open up on their range, (nice perk for working there, eh?) and the first thing out of several mouths was "Isn't that illegal?!!!" These are guys that shoot every week, some shoot rifle and pistol, too. Our club bans full-autos, which is their right, but I calmly pointed out that no, it is not illegal for (In this case a trust) private citizens, or a trust, to own full auto weapons in Wisconsin. I explained the process, and the fact that thanks to the ATF, that Ingram (I am about 99% sure that's what it was) costs about $4000 and is the cheapest full-auto available. Then they let a mag rip from a .308 in full auto. (Probably an H-K or clone), and told them that gun (well sear kit) was probably more like $15,000. Makes those $6000 Kx6's and Ljutics seem cheap.
I then explained to the "Well, they should be illegal" group that the anti's will be coming for their single-shot Trap guns just as surely as they'd like to come pick up all the full-autos and other such toys, and quoting Franklin said "We must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately." .

A glass of water and a glass of paint thinner are visually indistinguishable.

Doesn't mean they are functionally the same. Doesn't mean that restaurants should be banned from service water to the general public on the grounds that it is too similar to paint thinner.
