What’s your experience with the Witness 10mm. The LGS has one I’m looking at. It’s not a polymer model.

the early ones had issues with the frame cracking. I believe that has long since been resolved. The frame design in very comfortable. I have an elite match in 9mm and I love it. I sold my glock and my 1911 because I never shot them any more.....

have an all steel .38 super version. works well. holsters are very hard to find. same with grips if your planning on changing anything. if not no bother. I like the gun in .38 super. comfortable to shoot. I expect it runs well in 10mm as well.

I want a 10mm steel version. havent run into one yet.......

I haven't owned or shot one, but it seems the newer ones are highly regarded.

I'm probably gonna get myself a Witness P Match if I find one at a good price

I own five Witnesses and like them a lot. They seem particularly well-suited for those of us with large hands.

I had an EAA Witness in .40 S&W caliber for a good while. All steel. I did put a Millet adjustable rear sight it and some flat rubber panels. I found that pistol to be very accurate and it just wouldn't fail to feed, fire, and eject spent cases. I let a customer shoot it one day and he "made me an offer I couldn't refuse". Sorta wish I kept it now.

I have had two Match and one Limited in 10mm. I love them. They are, in my view, just about ideal 10mm launchers.

I have no experience with the base model.

It is worth knowing that Tanfoglio is the manufacturer, and EAA is just the importer. Tanfo’ is primarily focused on the competition market. That means they make guns with excellent performance and very good tolerance for high round counts. However, they are also selling to people who expect to have to tinker with their guns. They’re not Glocks. IMO, they are vastly better than Glocks, but if your primary focus is never needing to do anything to the gun for it to be reliable, you may or may not end up happy - just depends on the specific gun.

When they are set up correctly, they are extremely reliable.

Had a Witness in 10MM (polymer model) and the ergo's were fine but it wasn't very accurate. My 1006 and G20 were far more accurate so the Witness found a new home. Others have had better luck with them.
