I would not make a bet all Keltecs are like the one in the video. I have learned a long time ago to try a gun out for myself rather than so much of the crap on the internet and Youtubers.

With regard to any other brand, I would agree with you. However, this is Kel-Tec. They have a well earned reputation and it is a reputation I have experienced myself. I suspect that very few in the know were surprised by what occurred in that video.

I had the p22. Functioned fine but a Glock will be a better built weapon and worthy of a few extra bucks. Caveat, not a big Glock fan either but zinc construction on that Walther? Pssshh, junk.

I think the issue is that at that "few extra bucks" pricepoint you're getting into the same pricing as the Ruger Mk series, S&W Victory, and Browning Buckmark - all of which I'd rate as better guns than the Glock 44. Glock 44 is more in the realm of the Ruger SR22, M&P .22LR, Taurus TX-22, etc I'm not paying $300+ for a gun with a mostly polymer slide.

The Glock has not even hit the streets and yet so many are bellyaching about the price and the round count.

No "bellyaching" here. I just wish that Glock that chosen to get very aggressive with its pricing to build market share for their G44. Then again, had they priced it at $199.95 (where they would likely still make money), the self-described "experts" would be quick to judge it as a "cheap piece of garbage", no matter how good it might actually be.

Do you really actually think the Pre-order price is the same price 6 months from Now?

The $359.00 is a discounted price. Very close to the Ruger SR22 -- which will likely be Glock's biggest competitor, which has been out for some time and currently discounts for $360 or so. So yes, I expect the price to remain fairly steady, unless all heck breaks loose in the market, which I am hoping for.

Or that all the vendors of magazines in the world will or cannot actually get a larger round magazine down the road, and not to say Glock already has them?

We'll just have to see...

Or that for now they are using a 10 rounder for sure success of reliability? And later introduce larger magazines. For myself, 10 rds is fine. The high round count is now the Internet latest fad. I get it.

Yeah, I'm note sure just where the high cap-fetish comes from? I shoot Rimfire Challenge -- action shooting and we're allowed 11 rounds maximum -- 10 in mag and 1 "barneyed" in the chamber.

And I will bet the Glock will be a great 22.cal. (And by the way, I am NOT a Glock Fan, do not own one, but nothing against them either) Man, I love the internet.

Glock wouldn't be releasing it, were it not top notch in terms of reliability and accuracy. They certainly took plenty of time. It sounds like the design/materials of the slide was their breakthrough.

Good that you love the Internet![/QUOTE]

What I want to know is does it fit in a Glock 19 holster ? That will be the big selling point to me if it fits in a Glock model holster I all ready have.

Everything I have read says it does indeed fit in the G19 holster. It will be interesting to see how well it does fit since somewhere I saw someone showing that the slide was slightly narrower on the G44.
