S&W MP .22 Compact loose ejector

While cleaning my new SW 22 compact I noticed the ejector wiggles.Is this normal for Smith MP pistols?

Found the time to check my M&P 22 compact. The ejector does have some play in it but it never affected the way it functions. Checked my Shield in 45acp, and it has a tad of play in it too but not like the 22. Probably designed that way and it’s never been an issue with either of my guns.
