Looking for range with rentals near Santa Cruz, California

I'm going out to visit a friend in September, thought she might want to go out shooting (hahah, infect another victim!!!). Figure instead of trying to bring a couple firearms on the flight (and deal with transport in rental car, or storage at hotel..etc..) I'd just rent a couple...

Figured I'd ask here before just randomly picking out a place via phone book..

I'm not sure about Santa Cruz, but Target Masters in Milpitas offers gun rentals.

Target Masters

They're an east-bay facility so it'll probably take you about 45min to an hour to get there.

Thanks, that's close enough anyway.. planned on making a trip up to that area anywho.. check out some of the old haunts and the like.

If you are looking at going to TargetMasters, maybe check out Reed's Indoor Range its where National Shooting Club was. I haven't been there for a while to shoot, but the facilities look nicer than Targetmasters. That said. Targetmasters has more accomadating hours (open until midnight) and the staff there rocks. They also have firearm sales at TargetMasters, Reed's sells stuff from there retail location a couple miles away.

Could ya give me a rough idea as to the area it's in? It's been probably 8 years or so since I've been up there... heck at least 5 years since I've even been in the PRK ;-)
