Mark on Chambered Round

Here's a round that was chambered and not fired. Can you see the arc shaped scar on it? Any idea what is causing this? Rifle is a Delton AR. 20200620_174255.jpg
 
I saw similar marks on rounds that fed from an old mil-spec metal magazine I had. Only reason I even noticed is I could feel a hitch in the bolt closing when starting a new mag. I think it was the front edge of the mag causing it.
This was a long time ago and the mag is long gone or I would photograph and post it.
 
slowly extract and eject another round, and as soon as you can, stick your finger in there to hold the cartridge straight. the ejector will be pushing on it from the other side of the bolt, trying to throw it out of the gun. but hold it straight with your finger til it's all the way out of the chamber, then see if it has scratches on it. odds are, the scratch is coming from the lugs as it is pulled out, not going in
