So I built my PRC and I have a bunch of spare parts left over and I'm thinking of building something new. The parts:

Manners T4A LA 3.75" Mini-Chasis
Defiance Tenacity Gen2 LA Magnum
Jewell Trigger

Basically all I need to do is pick a cartridge and buy a barrel and off she goes to the 'Smith. Considering that I have a veritable menagerie of 30 cal rifles, I'm thinking of a 284 cal build. I have the dies and components for a 7 Rem that I no longer own but I have been looking at the 28 Nosler for high BC screamers but I'm not sure that I want to rebarrel every 8 months. The limiting factor for this set-up is going to be fitting a standard long action AICS magazine and the magnum bolt face.

What would you do?

It's the above components with a Proof Heavy Palma 8 twist cut to 24" and chambered in the boring ol' 7mm Rem. The scope is absurdly high because I pulled the AMD mounted scope off of an AR and both the mount and rail have 20 moa slope. Thank goodness for the adjustable cheek piece.

Love me some rem mag too! Perhaps not an exotic choice, but an excellent one.
