Years ago I got carnival bb machine gun that runs on compressed air. It’s like the “shoot the star” guns made by Feltman of Coney Island fame. This gun, while on the outside looks almost identical, the internal mechanism is different. The gun has a tag stating “Old Neck Industries inc pneumatic gun, Center Moriches N.Y.” trying to get it to work and I can not find any information on the web about it or the company. Any help would be appreciated.

I have always wanted one of those so your post inspired be to "search" for one. Woah! ridiculous prices!! Over a grand! Funny thing though, the search also revealed the company that makes, sells and services them is literally a few blocks from me! I have lived here for 20 plus years and never knew!! The building just has a big red star on it. Look up shooting star, 2500 plainfield ave, scotch plains, nj They claim to see rebuild kits!

There used to be R-12 Freon powered ones in magazines, yeah the same Freon we had to ban because air conditioning in autos leaked it out and that’s what hurt the ozone... it back then it was cheaper source of power than CO2.

Anyway, they were just a container for BB’s that under pressure flushed them out the barrel when the valve (trigger) was opened. Around 50 an second were pushed put the barrel.

Only “magic” was to put the bullet hose in a casting that looked like a gun.
