The winning bidder is an NR buyer, and he put in several bids toward the end of the auction. You have to watch out for these guys. They can run up those bids to ridiculous heights because it's their first auction and they haven't got any self restraint. They're bidding on something they've just got to have and get caught up in the moment and just damn the expense they put in another bid. I think these buyers are the ones that might renege on their obligation and refuse to complete the purchase, and that's why they've got a bad rep with sellers. You might want to keep that item in your watch list just to see if it eventually comes up as relisted. And be careful bidding on auctions where there's an NR jumping in toward the end.
