not needing any powder but checking out powder valley for primers. they have some BE-86 8 lb jugs( can get up to 2) sport pistol. i haven't used either of these but do know they are quite useful.

I've been pinging various online retailers; powder valley, midwayusa, graf and sons, natchetz, midsouth, etc. Powders and bullets are disappearing fast. Of course, primers have been pretty much non-existent for months.

While it takes some looking, I’ve been able to find most all of the popular pistol powder whenever I want. Bullseye seems most scarce, but that’s not a scientific finding.

I most recently bought four one pound containers of sport pistol from Midsouth and am waiting on two pounds of W231 to be shipped to my closest Cabelas.

The latter method is very much my preferred way to do it so I avoid hazmat and shipping fees. Besides, I never have anything firearm related sent to the house.

Just got an 8 lb jug of H110 and some 44 special brass from them. The 44s and 357 will be happy for a long while...

Restocked this week myself.
8lb wst and sport pistol. After all hazmat it ended up at $23.50 per pound.

Not bad by any stretch.. in regular times I would have waited longer for all of it in stock at once but after searching for a few weeks I just split it up and had two ship charges. That would have brought it down to $22 per.

Powder does seem reasonably available.

Bullets... well, not great but it finally put me over the top. Bought a bunch of equipment and now I'm casting for 9mm and 45acp.

Vista Outdoor reports a year backlog for orders of ammo. That means they're going to be sucking down the components for the next year or more.

Brands include, Alliant, CCI, Blazer, Federal, American Eagle & Remington

They may have the buying power but don't count me out.. I'll keep buying as well. Wife and I can shoot steady 1500 round a month (which bring high covid risk we are not) for at least 2 years. A brick here and there will sustain us very well.
