So what glass should one put on it? Have my ideas already.
The Wolf match is the same thing as SK Standard Plus.As you well know, CZ. seem to love certain ammo. If you weren’t 4,000 miles away I’d give you some of my Wolf Match Extra. I’ve got 2-3 bricks.
I haven’t shot anything other than Federal Auto Match or Wolf in a long time, but the Wolf is exceptional
When the Wolf was made in Germany, it was good ammo. Now made in England by Eley and neither one of my CZ's, a 455 FS or a 457 two tone stubby American like any flavor of Eley. As for the rifle, I couldn't get past the rifle's name carved into the stock. The Wolf match is the same thing as SK Standard Plus.
I consistently shoot sub 1/2 groups out of both my rifles using SK Standard + and SK Pistol Match.Thanks. I have a good collection of ammo to try. What flavor do yours like?
LW I just ordered Talley tall rings for my new CZ 455 Lux, they were all I could find for my 3x9x40 and the reviews kept saying great for 40 and up scope bells. What is the difference in mount height between the low and high mounts?Theres a few that I want to try. Tract, Clearidge,......Im missing one.
Leupolds always a solid option....OH burris timberline if you can find it......
My 457s wearing a Athlon Argos HMR in 2-12x42 in Talley rimfire rings. I got high talleys, but they are too tall, so just ordered and just got in the lows.
.56 highLW I just ordered Talley tall rings for my new CZ 455 Lux, they were all I could find for my 3x9x40 and the reviews kept saying great for 40 and up scope bells. What is the difference in mount height between the low and high mounts?
Stay safe.
Guess I didn’t know Wolf ammo had been resourced to England. Haven’t seen any Wolf since I bought the last 3 cartons our local Cabela’s had. It’s been a while, time gets away quickly. When the Wolf was made in Germany, it was good ammo. Warne puts those on the 527 rings to engage the stop slot......might wanna check and make sure those ARE 11mm rings, not 16sGot my scope and rings. On the bottom of one of the Warne rings there is a set screw. Who knows it’s purpose? These are what I plan to use. I looked at the installation instructions and it is not mentioned. Nor on the YouTube videos.

Boooooo! that happens sometimes tho.Your right. Checked my order, it was right. Wrong rings shipped.
Wolf Match Target used to be the same as SK Standard Plus (by many accounts, people who had disassembled and compared the powder, bullet, and brass, possibly even stated by the manufacturer), but it's no longer made by SK/Laupa. It's some type of Eley now.The Wolf match is the same thing as SK Standard Plus.
Picked it up today.
